Helena Zappolino
(She/Her),
MA, LPC, LCPC, LCMHC
Helena Zappolino is the Executive Director of The Renewed Outlook Foundation. With more than a decade of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families, she is licensed across six states and brings a strong commitment to culturally responsive, accessible mental health care.
Helena founded the Foundation to help close gaps in traditional mental health systems and expand access for communities that have long been underserved. As its Clinical Director, her work has already provided more than $60,000 in free and reduced-cost therapy services, directly increasing access for individuals who might otherwise go without care.
She is also a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator and trainer, supporting the relational systems that shape family life. In addition to her foundation work, Helena runs Renewed Outlook Counseling and Solutions, a telehealth practice grounded in the same values of access, equity, and respect.
Helena's multicultural lived experience informs her approach and deepens her understanding of what it means to navigate systems that were not built with everyone in mind. Through her work, she is building programs that meet immediate needs while creating lasting, sustainable impact.

Meet Our Founder
S Feser
(They/Them)
LMFT-A
S Feser brings strong clinical skill and a genuine commitment to making mental health care more accessible. A graduate of Converse University's Marriage and Family Therapy program, S is currently preparing for licensure and has already built a track record that reflects both dedication and impact.
With a deep commitment to the homeless community, S has focused their training on making sure mental health services reach people who are often overlooked. At Archibald Rutledge Apartments in Spartanburg, South Carolina, S created and led therapeutic groups for residents, then developed a program structure designed to continue after their time there, allowing future Converse MFT students to carry the work forward.
Outside of clinical practice, S is the founder of CARE, which stands for Community, Action, Response, and Education. This organization focuses on building community, supporting mutual aid, raising awareness, and advocating for working people. Through CARE, S works to foster meaningful connections and create lasting change at the community level by bringing people together around shared needs and collective action.
S joins The Renewed Outlook Foundation with a clear sense of purpose and a demonstrated ability to do work that sticks. They understand the importance of meeting people where they are and staying with the work until real progress takes hold
